WHAT VAULTAGE DOES
One vault for the things you would rather keep to yourself.
- Import or capture. Add photos and videos from your library, files from the Files app, or take a photo or video straight into the vault.
- Unlock your way. Choose a password, a six-digit PIN, or a pattern on a 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5 grid.
- Search privately. Text recognised in photos and supported files is searchable after unlock. The index stays encrypted inside the vault.
- Stay discreet. Optionally show a working Calculator or Clock while locked, and switch to an abstract app icon. How discreet mode works
- Back up on your terms. Create an encrypted backup file with its own password, and save it wherever you choose.
- Originals kept exactly. Files are stored byte-for-byte, with nothing recompressed.

PRIVACY WITHOUT A BACKDOOR
No one can reset your vault password.
That includes us. If you forget it, the encrypted vault cannot be recovered. Your vault is also left out of device backups, so losing your device loses the vault unless you made an encrypted backup. It is worth choosing a password you can remember and keeping a backup somewhere safe.
